Pros

I've worked in Meat Market for the last 8 years and overall the experience has been great. When you're at 40 hours a week full-time you get a raise every 6 months and can top out at around $13.70 / hr for a meat clerk. It is also the place i've learned everything about meat. We also pay only $10 / week for health insurance and get a decent pension at the end.

Cons

The pay for meat cutters, assistants, and managers are below average in comparison to other competitors and the workload is very heavy. They keep adding more and more work with no hours.

Pros

There were absolutely NONE at all

Cons

Always forced to work through your breaks. Male manager also would follow to restroom if you attempted to go to tell you to get back to the register. They would also have you stay past your scheduled hours
