Pros

Don't open too early and are in a grocery store in case you need to grab something after work

Cons

Management keeps "realigning" did away with clinic managers for a "float manager" who will now do the operational functions the managers used to do. Why is this a higher salary NP? Its operational, administrative, stop paying high salaries to those not in the clinics and make that position fillable by a non licensed employee. Pay NPs more. On call twice a month and almost always get called in No one praises or acknowledges good attendance, same people always call out Not a 40 hour work week but not many days off to have secondary employment to make up for not earning full time hours Limited scope of practice Unreliable techs due to poor pay No interest in retaining good employees, they make it known we are easily replaceable which is why the turnover is insanely high

Pros

Pay and bonus (still low for industry standards)

Cons

You will receive little to no training and/or support and when you ask for training, you will be threatened and harassed as to why you need it. "You should just know how to do it all" - says a former supervisor there. This review pertains to the Kroger FC05 location in Dallas. This is the most toxic and chaotic place you could ever work. Gossip and backstabbing is rampant. It's like working in a den of snakes. The entire leadership team is spiteful and looks forward to ridiculing you on any single mistake made. I would not wish the nightmare experiences I had there on any one. Their front line workers and delivery drivers are paid a slave wage and treated as such. These companies just seem to be oblivious to how they destroy and trample on initial passions for growing and developing within the company. No dollar amount is worth the pains you will endure working for Kroger. Don't let them fool you too.

Pros

Easy way to get into healthcare if you have little to no experience

Cons

Low pay, long and taxing hours, no control over your schedule, poor work / life balance, demanding management and patients, breaks are not respected by the company, you are expected to be working and moving constantly and are not allowed to take the 15 minute breaks throughout the day that are promised upon hire. It is also nearly impossible to get your shifts covered and management does not respect requests for time off. Burnout is incredibly fast; most of my coworkers and I myself only lasted a few months.
