      Bullying by members of staff at all levels Most people are just out from themselves. No training on anything, you are expected to just ask. No systems or processes to back up the work you do. One rule for one and one rule for everyone else. Inconsistency in everything they do Treated like children. No work life balance, they take and take and never give back. Everything is a problem and they will never bend to help.

      - Below market remuneration for non-Japanese staff - Non-Japanese staff often kept out of the loop on developments - Few formal corporate systems means that staff are at the mercy of management. If management likes you, that is fine. If not, then not much you can do about it. - Related to the above, nepotism and discrimination tend to flourish in such an environment.
