      Deceptive at hiring You will work multiple jobs w/o adequate pay They do not promote from within They don't acutually aim to solve issues, just cover them up Management is a joke HR is timid and hardly ever there on-site Upper management comes in to see what issues are, but wants you to be solution-oriented; only to tell you your solutions aren't doable in their eyes and leave the problems w/o resolution.

      Pros

      Great people. Good benefits, and the pay is decent. There is an ongoing effort to foster a positive culture. I think this is an excellent in concept, and they should continue to strive for that.

      Cons

      The lack of influence on the parent company body is apparent in most of the failures that occur because they are typically rooted (or at least based on my limited experience with them) a one sided conversation. The Japanese HQ's does not collaborate with the team from the US well. Often this results in excessive evening calls, by the US side only. There is a significant lack of personal boundaries between the professional roles and your life outside of the company.
