Pros

It used to have a great work culture, but no more. Most of the good people left. The management and culture are very much bias, and they want to compete but don't want to pay their engineers. smh

Cons

This place talks about being diverse but there is no diversity. When they did layoffs, they targeted a specific race. They give promotions to their friends. They have no sense of direction. They put people in power positions that clearly should not be. This place has taken a serious nose dive. If you are not of the preferred persuasion, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Pros

They don't care how we spend our day.

Cons

A hurricane (Ian) is about to hit tomorrow. Brevard County Schools are closed for the next two days. L3Harris: Bring your rear to work anyway. It's business as usual. Great, so we are coming to work in a hurricane, or using PTO to stay safe. I'll bet hthe company officials will stay home while they collect their bonus checks for saving money on this one!

Pros

They are offering competitive salaries. Also, many business units work on interesting tech that is postured well for for future (electronic warfare, cyber weapons, etc)

Cons

Corporate communication, training and strategy portrays the picture of a well established, blue chip defense contractor, however, on the ground level, that isnt reality. Many business units have not integrated to the larger corporate processes or are lacking processes and documentation all together. Many instances of work being executed without defined processes/well formed plans. Resistance to change from legacy employees at independent business site. Questionable messages from executive management (was explicitly told you should be losing sleep if your program is in any way financially red, CAMs should be fired if they come to you with a variance of +/- 5%, etc
