I came to L3 from GE Aerospace and I'm very happy with my decision. There's a lot of work and the business is doing well. - Benefits and pay are very competitive - Leadership team is working on a improvement in several areas constantly - Lots of exciting work getting awarded - Talented colleagues & opportunities to take on challenging work (if you'd like to) - Facility in Mason, OH is great and the technology is impressive

Cons

- Like every other company not everything is perfect, but the difference is that people here care to change what's not adding value - Many employees are still hung up with the M&A that happened 6 years

Pros

Longevity - Only worked here for months, but they have been a customer for about 25 years. I know many people here that have over 25 years...some that have over 40. Good pay - The pay was commensurate with previous positions. Good work - Lot's of projects to stay on top of. It feels like just maintaining old products will last a long time. Employee contact - They do a lot to keep their employees engaged. Lots of groups and engagement for people of all types. Lots of training and advancement so that they can promote from within.

Cons

The only issue I have had so far is that it seems IT is a bit thin. Don't get me wrong, they know their stuff and respond quickly, However, the first week was mostly just setting up the computer and installing software, things that I am used to getting setup for new employees so that they can come in and work. There have been several downtime events since then where instructions come from IT, but it is up to the employee to take care of it. I guess that is just how it is when the company is this big?
