Pros

Hours full time and management is structured

Cons

They state that you only need to pass a Live Scan, but that is not the full picture. For a contracted parking enforcement position (not a city job), the background check expectations are extremely high. The Burbank Police Department conducts an investigation similar to a police officer background. Even if you are “hired,” you still must pass a very thorough investigation. They review your entire history, including social media, neighbors, prior conduct—everything. Even simple police contact with no charges can result in disqualification. The investigation can take 4 to 6 weeks, which is not worth the stress for this type of position. The pay does not justify the level of scrutiny. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
