Pros

Room for career growth if you are willing to relocate. Unlike other companies that preach upward mobility and employee first, LCS lives it. Best example is Joel Nelson who started as Administrator in training and now is CEO, plenty of examples throughout the organization. The fact that LCS is a family of companies gives you confidence that the company is not going bankrupt anytime soon (never). Though the culture certainly varies from community to community, the LCS culture is strong and positive and they do their best to permeate it through their portfolio. Senior management in my experience has always been very approachable and humble. Not something you see from many “VIP’s”, it’s quite refreshing really.

Cons

For folks at the community level (operations) it seems that LCS could do more to help with day to day operations.
