Pros

Excellent focus with innovative, high value products in a market that is highly commoditized. That is where LDR shines. Leadership has high values, ethics and involvement. There is a sense that what you do every day makes a difference and is valued externally and internally.

Cons

While the company benefits from a unique perspective given it's French origin, this also has limiting factors in speed to market and response to the needs of the large US market.

Pros

The company has arguably the best products in the market for both stand-alone fusion and zero-profile cervical disc replacement. LDR has established itself as a leader in spine and has made the investments to fully leverage its technology throughout the portfolio and grow the company in the areas required to be successful (including best-in-class sales and marketing, reimbursement, training, and all of the operational groups necessary to maintain an ethical and compliant medical device company).

Cons

There are no reasons why I would not recommend quality candidates to work for LDR. I believe that it is one of the best opportunities in the spine industry.

Pros

LDR is a fast-paced, fast-growing company with innovative products and a dynamic group of employees. A great place to work for those who enjoy working hard, multi-tasking and constantly learning new things. The company culture is relaxed and casual and the employees are truly the best part of the job.

Cons

Not the place for those who like a typical 8 to 5 job and cannot keep up with a company that is growing fast. There are always lots of changes and you need to be able to adapt quickly. Non-performers seem to weed themselves out.
