Pros

Helpful and accessible mentors. Good virtual initial training.

Cons

Sometimes hard to communicate since covid. Everything being virtual and online communications can feel like playing a game of telephone.

Pros

The best reasons to work here are the training at the beginning, and the work you do with the clients. They help you get certified as an RBT which is great.

Cons

You do not get a pay boost when you get your RBT. You only get a raise after 400 hours worked, which is a dollar. The company culture in the workplace is not ideal. Everyone talks about each other and it is not professional. Scheduling is all over the place and problems are not addressed appropriately/accordingly.

We are so glad you appreciate our training and the great clients! Please know that we regularly assess staff for increases and we have professional development programs in place to help you reach your professional goals. Please talk to your supervisor about these and any issues you are experiencing with culture. We are committed to being a place where we support and respect everyone.

Pros

This company is extremely accepting of all people, I was able to have my chosen name put into the system early on in my employment and was asked my pronouns/preferred name during my first interview.

Cons

Communication is tough. While I understand many are busy, it was hard to get in depth responses from supervisors and managers about serious problems. While I enjoyed my work, it was hard for me, an autistic person, to tell when I was truly being given the tools I needed for my job. Some things were explained far too late or not explained at all and blamed on me or my client's family.
