      Disappointing overall

      Pros

      * Flexible working hours for parents * Not too much pressure over deadlines * Most of the office staff are friendly

      Cons

      * Lower wages than industry average * Far too many layers of 'management', that don't appear to add any value * Poor communication between depts * Very little support and guidance given * Very old fashioned company that takes a while to react to anything * Far too much red tape and pointless processes. I took a day off sick and HR advised a 'Back to work interview'

      Gained a lot of experience scientifically Modern laboratories Some staff and managers try hard to do their best Pension

      Poor wages Little communication between departments often leading to mismanaged projects/schemes rushed though Trainers are not trained to train people Direction from managers is vague and lack pinned down direction Poor double check methods to assure product right first time A lot of back biting amongst established staff
