Huge Turn Over

Pros

In a hot market with low inventory great place to work. If you have no new home sales training at all. Then work here for a year for the training then move on.

Cons

Worst hours of any builder. Construction quality is very low. (They lie and tell you its amazing and its built better then any other builder) completely false. They have a 100 day training period and they pay for some training and give you lots of food and take you to the CEOs house and once you feel warm and fuzzy about the company before you go live and start selling they have you put in a glassdoor and indeed review. Thats how this company had such a high rating for so long. Over all if you want to get to work at 8:30am on Sunday sell 40-80k over priced poorly built homes with mediocre incentives this is the builder for you.

Pros

I made over 100k a year

Cons

1. Work life balance is awful. 2. The leaders from the top down are scum bags. 3. The houses are the cheapest pieces of crap ever built. 4. I was once chewed out by the President of the company after selling my 5th home for the day for attaching a earnest money check to a folder with a paper clip because" its not the LGI way". In no way am I exaggerating about this. 5. The company has a very toxic culture. 6. I literally watched my boss eat boggers one day. 7. They make you waste your time doing repetitive sales training every week taught by managers who suck at selling. 8. Your customer base is mostly made up of people with trash credit. 9. You work in either the middle of nowhere or in the ghetto. 10. You will listen to repetitive cult like nonsense on a daily basis.
