Pros

LGI Homes is the company I have been looking for my whole career. The history of success, bulletproof sales and training system along with the amazing leadership at LGI Homes is something to write a book about. It all starts with CEO Eric Lipar and COO Mike Snider who invest their time to personally to meet, train and engage with every new employee that has the privilege of joining this company. The CEO and COO remember everyone in the company by name and remembered mine the first day of training along with 74 other new-hires. Talk about people-focused. Within the first week of employment, I was flown to the corporate headquarters in The Woodlands, TX and staying in top-notch accommodations. The training is by far the best that I have ever experienced and is led by our COO and President Mike Snider for the duration. CEO Eric Lipar leads day one of training and invites every new hire to his home for dinner during the first week of employment and it's amazing! We, Us, Together are not just words on a corporate culture board at LGI, its engrained into everything we do as a company. Grand opening events highlight everything that's right about the LGI way. LGI management in a specific region of the country travel to a new community that is hosting a grand opening event to ensure the success of that community. It's amazing to see everyone from the Division President on down supporting sales and closings and doing everything they can to ensure the salespeople have a successful start their LGI careers. The leadership doesn't just support; they sell homes on behalf of the salespeople and ensure that the salesperson who worked to get that customer to show receives the entire commission. CEO Eric Lipar and COO Mike Snider have been known to sell homes for new home consultants at grand openings. The picture above is the Katoto family. They are immigrants from the Congo and have been working and renting in the Charlotte, area for over ten years. Mr. Katoto walked into our information center days before the grand opening event. After taking him through the LGI process we came to the conclusion that homeownership was a possibility for his family however, they had already purchased tickets to fly New York on the weekend of the event. I explained to him why the grand opening of Paw Creek Village was his family's golden opportunity for homeownership and suggested he cancel the trip to New York. His family arrived at the grand opening, nervous and skeptical. Mr. Katoto along with his wife and four amazing children are now moved into their new home and are the first members of their extended family to realize the American dream of homeownership. They couldn't be happier. It was an amazing thing to be a part of! If someone reading this is a top-performing salesperson, please pay attention. The highest commissions in the industry, guaranteed leads provided free of charge and a people-focused culture that revolves around SALES and CLOSINGS. That is the LGI Homes I have come to know in my first 100 days, and it just keeps getting better around here.

Cons

Wish I would have found LGI Homes sooner!

Pros

Great place to get your foot in the door if you are interested in new home sales! A company that really cares about their sales consultants and treats them accordingly!

Cons

Great place to start but too many sales consultants on the floor so pay could be better.
