Pros

Most companies would argue they have an established culture, system and process in place. However, the culture at LGI Homes is everywhere you look and is written out and trained on. In previous roles, expectations and consequences were nowhere to be found and I can say my work suffered because of it. I never knew where to turn next and never had someone telling me good job or terrible job - it was all neutral. LGI goes above and beyond illustrating what culture means and should look like and I am proud to work for a company that is people focused and driven to not only set goals, but to achieve and surpass them.

Cons

I have zero cons about working at LGI Homes.

Pros

The company culture is what sets LGI Homes apart from other builders. I've seen a lot of big box builders around Austin that have revolving doors. At LGI Homes, the company cares about your growth and work life balance. It's a family culture where the CEO and COO know you and your family by name. How many employees of Top 10 builders can say they have personally been to the CEO's house for dinner? The emphasis is on a quality product, exceptional customer service and hiring the best for our future growth!

Cons

This is a real Opportunity where you are going to get out of this position what you put into it.

Going to the CEO's house for dinner is the best part of new hire training. It truly shows that our leaders are people-focused. Thanks for the fantastic review!
