      Pros

      The home health style of therapy

      Cons

      Team leaders not expected to communicate professionally or to assist the therapist with Dr. orders when needed. Patients are always seen in a timely manner upon D/C/ from hospital. Nurses not asked to complete paperwork in a timely manner so other therapists can get in to see patients in need. This clinician lost a patient due to such practices and miseducation on the management of bolus feedings with a new tube.

      I have none at this time.

      Cons

      The transition was terrible, the way supplies are ordered (cant check status, can’t see pictures of supplies, can’t order car stock unless in a patient visit), cant see medical records unless you have seen the patient in the last few days, etc.

      Pros

      Many dedicated and compassionate people work for LHC. Keith Meyers is a man of integrity and character.

      Cons

      Senior management is out of touch with field operations. People are expendable and not treated as a valued resource. The good old boy mentality is evident in home office operations.
