      Inconsistent and Poor Managing

      Pros

      LHC offers a good benefits package. Per visit rates are comparable with other Home Health companies in the area.

      Cons

      Continuity of Care is non existent. Patient schedules will be assigned to other staff to make sure all staff productivity and mileage equals each other. So, calling your patients the night before their visit is fruitless. Other offices can "borrow" you if you do not meet productivity. If you do not belong to the office "clique ", consider having the proverbial "target" on your back. High turnover of field staff. Local Manager encourages staff to find reasons to decertify patients instead of discharging them.

      Flexible schedule, benefits, fair amount of paid time off

      Cons

      Managers try to control visit numbers for therapists, if PT wants something they get it, managers told nurses to not request therapy orders on patients even if they could benefit, RN asked if I had found coverage for PTO days when it's management's responsibility to get it covered, orders changed without therapist's consent. Management would not stand up for employees.
