Pros

Great training program Work with very nice co-workers PTO

Cons

Company mergers destroy lives. LHC took OASIS reviews off of the PCM's in the branch offices and started a separate department, and eventually hired around 200 people. Every reviewer was required to take the COS-C exam. which they did pay for. All along, the company leaders kept telling us how wonderful of a job we were doing. At the end of the year, they kept pushing us to complete an employee satisfaction survey. We all love our jobs and we have been told repeatedly how well we are doing and most of us answered in kind. On January 6, 2025, we were abruptly told that half of our department are losing their jobs. Many of us are being told that we can go back to an office, with a pay cut, or course, even though most of us did not get a raise to transfer to the quality department. We have 30 days to do that or leave. Oh, they did offer a couple other little jobs that we can apply for. That won't come close to taking care of 100 people who took their jobs seriously and worked hard every day. Thanks LHC.

Pros

I had some of the BEST Coworkers!!

Cons

They make promises and cannot keep them, technical issues with tablets that are never resolved even after calling IT. Use our personal phones and patients/families all at all hours, no compensation for that and the office does not back you or limits. Rhonda in the office is impossible to work with and management knows it's a problem with no action. She is very condensending, fake and thinks everyone else is a problem but her. Scheduling will send you out for 1 or 2 patients with complete disregard to milage, time required for patients and everything else. Will assign patients that have special orders and not add it as a buddy code ie: dressings, labs etc. I started out LOVING it, made good money, had GREAT patient load. Picked up extra and recommended services and employment to many others. Then the politics and chaos, disregard foe patients, employees and everything came out. Parients and families calling rhe office with questions, concerns, requests and coukd not get amywhere. I will not use as a provider, I will not recommend to others for employment nor for services. This place is a joke!! I cannot even access my paystubs now via ADP because they have me locked out!!

Pros

Territory for services is large. The two names have a good reputation

Cons

They are actually Ochsner led. Recently bought out by UHG/Optum. Lack of knowledge for team oriented management skills, creating backstabbing environment. Lack of experience in management overall, zero knowledge with sales/skills in leadership, no knowledge with executing growth strategy, management does not understand analytics and lacks ability to make executive decisions to effectively and efficiently organize or lead sales teams to improve growth. Management unable to remain neutral among sales teams. Too many mid managers pulling field reps out of their rhythm to do ‘busy work’ which is duplicated with crossover management teams, more time spent with this repetitiveness of gathering data (easily could be provided to sales by analytics growth teams) than spent in the field executing actual sales. Lack of communication both horizontally and vertically-huge gaps vertically. Severe lack of follow through. The company has taken on full corporate persona of plenty of departments that pass the buck-refer you to another person/department, multiple levels of people creating duplications of busy work, lack of keeping it simple where possible, pay is not enough for current living expenses and expectations. Benefits expensive. They expect your loyalty 24/7, but they do not give it in return. History of ‘black listing’ you post completion of employment. As for the ratings below, they were very lack luster corporate company in terms of diversity and culture. The growth and development teams needs a complete overhaul with knowledgeable replacements all the way up the chain of command, Upper management is stale, old, and still applying “that’s the way it’s always been done” approach. There’s not an employee at that company that’s not frustrated with the growth development side of business lacking in knowledgeable leadership. Career opp to transfer to other locations is plentiful, to move up, I don’t see the opportunity. They are losing personal values on a daily basis to greed and covering their mistakes. The CEO is MIA when it comes to the people who are the face to the public- field employees, so can’t say much about him.
