      PRN rate is good enough.

      I am not sure what is going on with my employment. I started orientation and then was placed on hold. It has been a bit confusing and frustrating. It doesn't seem like HR is assisting in getting me on board. I have ended up having to take another PRN position with another agency that seems to be more organized and they have a separate pay rate for evaluations, which is higher than the normal visit. I hope I can still start working for this agency as I like the area that they are in and the office staff seem friendly.

      Local office is like family.

      Cons

      *Corporate has no connection with individual states and local referral facilities. They push for results without knowing the sources and body. *Upper management request unobtainable goals. Most of the census is geriatric and are borderline palliative care or hospice. Improved functional scores are not always obtainable. *Pay is not sufficient enough to keep the loyal employees that want the company to succeed.

      PTO, 401k, bi weekly pay and insurance. Being a part of patient’s lives near the end. About it right now

      Incompetent middle management. All the reviews from Georgia were asked to be put there from HR. I believe most of the people that posted 5 stars are no longer employed. Over the last 8-10 months, it’s been total Hell. New management at every level. Many people in positions they should not be in because they’re not qualified. Patient care is being sacrificed for bottom line numbers. 48-72 hour admission times, cut back on supplies for the patients, and cut back in office staff to process vital information. Clinical staff on a Skelton crew, and being overworked.
