      Pros

      LHC Group is a great company to work for with great values at the core. All of the management has been absolutely wonderful to work with. The benefits are great. LHC group's overall quality is second to none!!!

      Just like all other home health jobs, there is a lot of paperwork to complete.

      Pros

      Wages, Hours to work, benefits are good, Retirement and medical. Cases are spread out all over Tennessee. Can work independently with much supervision.

      Cons

      Management is slow to respond to issues. Hard to get a hold of at times. Technology for charting has major bugs.

      Pros

      LHC offers a good benefits package. Per visit rates are comparable with other Home Health companies in the area.

      Cons

      Continuity of Care is non existent. Patient schedules will be assigned to other staff to make sure all staff productivity and mileage equals each other. So, calling your patients the night before their visit is fruitless. Other offices can "borrow" you if you do not meet productivity. If you do not belong to the office "clique ", consider having the proverbial "target" on your back. High turnover of field staff. Local Manager encourages staff to find reasons to decertify patients instead of discharging them.
