      Dysfunctional Leadership.

      Pros

      My coworkers at the corporate HQ (aka "home office") are smart, friendly and hard-working. Good office culture and opportunities to volunteer in the community. Decent 401K plan and benefits, adequate time off policies. I enjoy the work I do.

      Cons

      Compensation is WAY below median. Work-Life balance and boundries are not encouraged. Senior/Executive leadership team (aka the "C-Suite) seem to be in total disarray with no clear chain of command or ability to execute strategy. Policies, project plans and initiatives are continually fluctuating and poorly communicated, which causes mass confusion and doubt in the ranks. It's not enough to incessantly TALK about being a "world-class" organization, you also need a decisive CEO to get you there. I've lost confidence this will happen.

      Pros

      Family Oriented. Great resources available at fingertips. Great foundational concept with six pillars of excellence - people, service, quality, finance, growth and ethics

      Cons

      Not always employee friendly. Definite lack of clear expectations for employee upon hire which leads to employee feeling overwhelmed when being called out on performance and also leads to frequent employee turnover.

      Pros

      I love my job at LHC Group and am a long term employee! The company culture starts at the top and is the same from the CEO to the field clinicans. Everyone has the same goal , which is to take care of the elderly and sick patient population aross the country with the highest quality and ethics of any healthcare company out there. We are given opportunity for continuing education as well as advancement within the company with fair pay and benefits.

      Cons

      I don't see this as a con, but LHC expects each employee to do thier job efficiantly and to the best of thier ability. When this doesn't happen we are swift to help folks exit the organization. No slackers here!
