      Keystone quality/service was tops in the nation. Then they were bought by LKQ.

      Pros

      Most of the "pros" are gone now. Old Keystone employees (that are still there) continue to provide great customer service. The new paint line helps because LKQ doesn't manufacture the paint products.

      Cons

      Vendors have been changed from providing quality products (equal to OEM with lifetime warranty) to vendors that can provide the cheapest product and supply the demand necessary.

      Pros

      You can wear jeans to work.

      Cons

      Micro-management to the extreme - direct manager needs multiple updates daily, so much so it interferes with the actual work. Zero on-boarding. Sub-par benefits. Lack of resources and no desire to hire more.

      Pros

      Keystone is an easy laid back work environment, with a lot of great people to work with throughout the entire organization.. Before the were purchased by LKQ in 2007 they were a great place to work financially as well.

      Cons

      When purchased by LKQ it became a good ole boys club, people got positions in the company based on who they knew instead of their qualifications. They also no longer pay their employees well at all. It is only a matter of time before they will start loosing some of those great employees because they will not compensate them appropriately.
