Pros

company benefits & casual Fridays

Cons

Unfortunately I left the company after finding out that my personal phone and computer were being monitored by the IT department per my managers request. I have been unemployed for a year due to the defaming and harassment.

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. Hopefully the rollout of the LMI 2020 Strategic Plan and the multiple events and communications associated with that has helped with understanding of the vision and direction of the company, which simply put means holding true to our mission and capitalizing on seven consecutive years of growth. Leadership agrees with you on the career pathing point. The Policy Fellow, Coop, Pathways and Performance Counseling programs are not enough. A wide swath of consultants, managers and leaders have worked with HR to develop a comprehensive Career Pathing Program. It pilots the next two quarters, with full implementation the goal this fiscal year.

Pros

Opportunity to learn a lot, if you make it happen. Good for federal sector experience. They are always looking for people.

Cons

LMI has among the lowest salaries in the industry of federal sector consulting. The new CEO has changed the organization for the worst. LMI used to be a place that was positive and collaborative and nothing like Deloitte or Booz. Now, with the new CEO, its just like all those infamously bad places to work. There is the good ol boys club that has led to a lack of integrity, honesty, and fairness. There is no financial or time investment in leadership training, so there are a lot of leaders within the organization who lack the skills and competencies to lead.
