Pros

Good benefits compared to other companies and knowledgeable staff.

Cons

Poor management, benefits have been downgraded. Initially, the company would put 12% into your 401k, now it has been decreased to 7%, which is still better than most companies offer. The company culture has shifted from retaining highly skilled and educated staff, to more of a chop shop to acquire lower cost employees to compete in winning contracts. Management has not been as supportive in recent years.

Pros

Use to be a great company to work for.

Cons

Once collegial and respectful work culture, full of smart, caring people now mirrors the typical low-end government contractor, rife with politics and pettiness.

Pros

I loved the camaraderie and genuine care from co-workers. Made many long-term friendships and connections. Very smart group of people to work with. Benefits were great, but as understood it must be reduced to stay competitive...however

Cons

The CEO changed how the company operated, thus affecting the non-profit culture of the company. This affected how management treated their workers in a very negative way. Management is supposed to help their people find jobs prior to contract end, but this is no longer the way it is done. Minimal to no bench time is provided, so if you can't find a new task to work on, good luck. Employee attrition rate increased by at least double when the CEO made his changes. Training was reduced significantly so it made it difficult to learn new skills to stay up to date-- unless you pay for it. Benefits were reduced for all employees as officers and top management received SIGNIFICANT bonuses that were larger than their salaries. I don't mind them getting large bonuses, but to disguise them and communicating to employees that benefits must be cut to stay competitive may be a stretch of the truth. As a non-profit, bonuses are published to the public and when comparing how much each received versus the amount cut in 401K company contributions......
