Pros

The people are generally good. Projects are interesting 401k match is good Support Staff is incredibly kind and helpful

Cons

Got rid of bonuses Don't promote employees then try and promote them when they say they are leaving Tuition Assistance used to be great and now its BS Very top heavy with payment, perks and benefits A few directors are absolutely toxic and shouldn't be managing, especially in their intelligence org

Thank you for taking the time to provide this review. We are pleased to learn that you enjoyed your projects and coworkers while you were at LMI. We have recently modified the eligibility criteria for our annual bonus program; however active, benefits-eligible, salaried employees who are no longer eligible for an annual bonus are able to participate in our spot bonus program. The spot bonus program rewards above-and-beyond performance throughout the year. Additionally, LMI’s tuition assistance program provides for up to $15K of reimbursement per calendar year for eligible expenses. If you have any recommendations on how we could improve our benefits, including our tuition assistance program, please email conversation@lmi.org.

Pros

None. There is literally no pro.

Cons

The CEO, HR, project managers, their DEIA or lack thereof. It's a terrible company, their conversations@lmi does nothing as does their copy and paste responses to their reviews. A one star company....if that. Stay far away from.

Pros

Very pleasant office decor, office is designed with the standard open office environment where employees are supposed to have the ability to log into an office concierge and pick their seats. You could do this at any LMI office which was a perk. The insurance plan before the company changed its business structure was awesome however this change occurred while I was there from non-profit to a for profit business model. Insurance offer was the standard 80/20. Company was designed to promote innovation in government and was supposed to offer cross functional collaboration. Many opportunities for those in the Field of Data Science. The former CEO was a gem and even reached out to inquire about my abrupt release.

Cons

DEI was something that was spoken about a lot but not practiced. I was hired to meet a quota, never given work and released after just under 3 months. I was released for non-performance even as I was never given any work to perform. Pay for women lags tremendously behind that of the male counterpart. I was belittled daily for not sitting in my seat at 9 even as I was told that there was no set time for start or close of business. My colleagues who were not of color came and went as they pleased but I was made to sit in my seat or face retaliation.
