Pros

Their 401(k) contributions; number of available job opportunities

Cons

DEIA is talked but I'm not convinced LMI walks the walk. There are a whole lot of white males in leadership.

Pros

Overall, the company has a good culture. It's a small-ish government/military contractor, so salaries and raises are below market rate, but pretty reliable.

Cons

Bonuses eliminated below the management level. Despite the lower paybands only having a 5% bonus (based on lower salaries), they eliminated those but kept the 10+% bonuses for managers despite manager salaries already being twice as high. For anyone looking at he LMI salaries, not that additional income no longer applies. They also been asking/making employees do additional work to fill gaps they should be hiring for.

We appreciate the time you took to provide this review and are glad to learn you value LMI’s culture. We understand your concern about the recent eligibility changes we’ve made to our annual bonus program; changes related to compensation can be particularly challenging. This is why we immediately and retroactively increased the salaries of all those affected by this change by 5%, which was in addition to our annual merit cycle in January. Employees who are no longer eligible for an annual bonus are still able to participate in our spot bonus program, which rewards above-and-beyond performance throughout the year. If you have additional questions or concerns, please reach out to conversation@lmi.org.
