Not the same company, no longer recommended

Pros

Overall, there are still some great people

Cons

Just not the same company it was when it was a non-profit. Culture has shifted from caring about the people to bottom line and it's felt. In the last year, employees have lost one paid holiday, "unlimited PTO" instead shifting to strong utilization rates with no bankable PTO, decrease in 401 contribution, and increases in insurance premiums and deductibles, which begin in the new year. Used to be a good place that cared about its people, but can't say that anymore.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that the recent changes to benefits can be challenging, and we genuinely appreciate your perspective. Despite rising costs, we’ve been able to minimize impacts on our benefit offerings in recent years, while also adding offerings such as family building benefits, group whole life with long-term care, student debt assistance, and increased parental leave. Our continued goal and philosophy is to have overall superior benefits, development and rewards for our LMIers. It's also important that LMI's benefits remain at or above industry standards. We continue to prioritize the well-being of our employees and are committed to supporting LMIers with a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Toxic workplace

Pros

Good pay and benefits, good PTO policy

Cons

As with most contractors - the work environment varies with each office/contract. My particular office was notorious and LMI knew of these issues but still sent in contractor after contractor only to lose them shortly afterwards. The original team didn’t even last 7 months. I felt bad for one recent grad hire that the office neglected and didn’t train or give feedback and when they struggled because of toxic and faulty conditions, LMI threw them under the bus. I’m sure that there are other LMI offices that are fine but LMI seriously fumbled this one and higher management knows it but doesn’t do anything to help.
