Pros

rotating shifts allows adequate time off. Voluntary OT for shutdown. Production Employees are good people to work with

Cons

Management! Plant leadership is poor, lacks professionalism and care for employees. Will tell you how to do your job even if they don't know what the name of the equipment is that you are operating. HR department needs some serious upgrading, if an employee brings up a concern or suggestion for change they are released soon after, have witnessed it many times before. Most employees are afraid to talk to management because of situations like this.

Location, location, location, location, location

Cons

Junior talent, outdated systems, lack of clear direction, lacking employee wellness programs. Transformation is code for firing long term employees with true industry knowledge in exchange for younger, cheaper employees with minimal relevant experience or talent. The culture is harsh and there is no acknowledgment or celebration of wins. Its all bottom line oriented with no focus on employee well being or happiness. The company and people are very behind the times. Positives are the corporate office is located downtown Nashville and close to everything for after work functions. It's a good company to get entry level experience in but then move on to a more sophisticated company or industry.
