Great people, good place to work, decent benefits, union, salary, long term employees can bid on decent positions usually netting whatever they want, exactly what youd excpect a lumber mill to be like, shifts go by quick

Cons

Swing shifts from early morning to late night can drive you mad, sawdust in every thing, sore hands, mill wrights

Salary was comparable. Mill employees were hard-working and easy to work with for the most part.

Cons

Lack of communication. Human Resources facilitates a "good-ole' boy" environment. Safety IS NOT a core value. No consistency with management.
