Pros

- A lot of interesting personalities - Free lunch once a week - Great Engineers - Two Bars

Cons

A long list, but can be kept short. - Let the engineers empower themselves. - A few tough headed people in the upper echelon of engineering management. If you did cool stuff six years ago good for you. It's 2018 - The flopping and over-bloat of titles and the buddy system - Political, Political, Political - Long Hours - Poor Product Management - The Blame Game I won't bore you with the details. Just know these problems have existed for years upon years in the company.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We appreciate and truly consider all the feedback we receive from existing and former employees. Like any fast-growing tech company, we have acquired tech debt, and like all tech-companies, we will balance fixing our tech debt with new customer value. As we invest in creating new capabilities, we are also making large investments in improving our infrastructure and the health of our systems.

Pros

If you’re early in your career, this place can still offer an opportunity to gain some experience and sometimes even have fun. If you’re experienced tho, this place comes with way more baggage than its worth and you probably don’t want to waste your time with it. -Still some good people remaining -Nice offices, although they come at the expense of employee compensation -Some interesting tech if you’re one of the lucky ones

Cons

Hard to say anything that hasn’t been said here before- the worst of the company’s problems almost all stem from new leadership, which has made some huge mistakes since showing up that they refuse to acknowledge. Compensation is far below average. Bonuses and equity handed out unequally, with only most favored employees benefiting. Supposedly ‘metrics’ driven, but only cherry-picked ones that make management look good. No CI/CD. Lots of ugly legacy PHP. Lack of freedom to deploy your own code or really make many decisions at all. Constant re-orgs (like multiple times per year), with projects that never get finished. Non-technical people in charge of engineering and DevOps. HR represents management's interests, not employees. I would not feel comfortable going to HR for help on anything. Contentious relationship across all departments, with lots of finger pointing. Some really toxic people in leadership who lack integrity and are driving away top talent.

Pros

- Generally good people to work with - Always stocked with snacks and beverages - Really nice offices - You cant beat that view

Cons

- Virtually no stability in projects - Insistence on combining the worst aspects of Agile and Waterfall - Just keep repeating hiring mistakes, especially at the VP level - Alienating core talent - Innovation is an afterthought at best
