My first year was great because at the time I had no plans of moving up within the company. I had just graduated with an associate's degree in ECE so I liked the teaching experience.

Cons

As an AIM, I was expected to perform as the director and assistant director as needed as well as to teach my class. I was perfectly fine with that because I hoped the experience and hard work would get me recognized to be promoted. After years of this and many rejected interviews, I felt that I was being taken advantage of so I resigned. Now I'm in a higher position at a different company.

Education program, if only they could implement it (stop moving children around so much!).

Cons

Horrible management. Not enough teachers, selfish director and management. More like a prison environment. Get reprimanded if you try to communicate a concern.. underpaid, under appreciated and over worked.
