We are always looking to elevate our team based on learning, ambition and results, and this environment is not for everyone. Disorganized hustle culture disguised as a design agency

Pros

Welcoming to self starters Good place for people who don’t want to be put into a box or micromanaged. Plenty of room to innovate. Contribute and succeed. Many team members are great to work with

Cons

No set process or culture. Every project and client reinvents the wheel. New hires are put onto projects in senior roles without the skill or experience to manage stakeholders requests. The customer is always right.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us. You're right that we have so many talented individuals in our team, we wouldn’t have it any other way! We’re been working over the last year to radically change the communication style and frequency at Lab, and we know we can still improve. Initiatives like Town Halls, in-person events, AMAs with our CEO and welcoming our new employees have gone some way to alleviating the challenges felt in the past.
