Pros
The pros are that you get paid weekly and it helps so much if you need bills paid versus waiting 2 weeks for your check. I will say that I was always given hours and didn't worry too much about cancellations when it came to client's attendance. I really liked the vibe here the other RBTs were very friendly and welcoming and I got to know pretty much everyone there. RBTs Rock!! they are the ones who keeps that building in good harmony. They really cherish how the children are treated there and I will say many kids have reduced bxs due to how great the RBTs were.
Cons
As leaders, the examples of leadership should be higher than what I've experienced at the company and I've been in the field for quite some time now. Some BCBAs there were great and I learned so much from them, however, others were unprofessional, and condescending to RBTs to the point where it was uncomfortable to hear someone get cursed out was a bit much. Suggestions to cases kind of fell on deaf ears and the fact that RBTs collab with BCBAs so closely with the clients, I think the relationship should be fair and respectful, to say the least. Some BCBAs didn't have much time to meet with RBT to discuss cases and to accommodate 5% of supervised hours for RBTs
