      Pros

      I have been at Lam Research for a very long time (and proud of it) so I may be a bit biased but I would highly recommend Lam Research to anyone. This is a fantastic company, with great management team, and a proven track record of success. In addition to their market leadership, they also care about their employees and work to maintain their standing in the communities in which they operate.

      Cons

      Lam is a high tech company, in a very competitive market, that has been experiencing tremendous growth. If you are looking for an easy ride, this is probably not the place for you. It can be stressful and depending on your position, can involve long hours.

      Pros

      The best thing about working at Lam is the people. I have worked at Lam for 20 years. The thing I like most about coming to work is the friendships I have formed in my 20 years at Lam. Lam also is a strong believer in a work-life balance. People at Lam work hard but are also able to enjoy their well deserved time off. Lam also does a lot of great things to support our local communities. For example, the Heart and Soles 5k race to support the YMCA and Boys and Girls club to help promote exercise and healthy eating for local youth.

      Cons

      This is a good problem to have but Lam's growth is happening at such a fast rate that we are struggling to keep up with customer demands.

      With the advancements and usage of technology in our everyday lives, Lam Research will continue to grow and have a bright future. I have been at Lam for over 15 years and have seen this company grow beyond my expectations, all the while staying true to the core values that are the true foundation of Lam's success. I have stayed with this company for over 15 years because I truly enjoy what I do and the people I work with. Everyone is dedicated, helpful, and committed to Lam's success. It is a truly collaborative environment.

      Cons

      The company is over 35 years old and needs to improve on employee on-site benefits; such as, on-site gyms, more parking and EUV parking. I know they are working on it...but would love it to move faster.
