      Interesting work. Excellent people to work alongside.

      Cons

      Poor pay and benefits. Company hires primarily through temp agencies maintaining a 80% - 20% temp to full time ratio. Pay is not commensurate with the job.

      Positive Internship Experience

      Pros

      I was surrounded by experts in their field who were excited about their work and eager to help. Having access to state of the art equipment for research was a dream come true for a college student. Coworkers were likeable, smart and interesting people. One of the highlights of the internship was a potluck where I discovered that many Lam Research employees are amazing cooks.

      No complaints, I had a great internship.

      Excellent benefits, good pay, semi-annual bonus. Little to know management people can get away with a lot.

      Cons

      Some of the senior team members do not like to teach newer employees. A lot of disorganization. little room for advancement. Little to know management people can get away with a lot. A lot of safety procedures that are impossible to follow due to the equipment.
