Pros
A needed product in the chip making process, this industry has consolidated for quite sometime . All engineering disciplines work toward the main product therefore there is great cross collaboration between software, mechanical end EE groups. Software is secondary, just a necessary tool to control the etcher.
Cons
Cyclical industry and the perks do not compare with the other companies in the valley. Not many opportunities for career advancement. A few high level management that are lifers and resist change.
