Great company with some exceptions

Pros

The company as a whole is a great organization of good people and values. Recently went to a PTO system that gives flexibility with time off. Pay is decent for this position. All in all, I have worked here for well over a decade for a reason.

Cons

The company makes this position feel as though it’s any old run of the mill entry level position. Several changes have been made to this position in the past two years that are detrimental to management placed individuals with a lot of responsibility to the offices they manage. Most recently, not happy at all with the decision to move Office Managers to an hourly position where we must clock in/out from a computer. Our level of responsibility, accountability & professionalism within this company is one of the most important aspects to running a “well oiled machine”, yet having some management advantages being stripped from a position makes it feel less than important once applied.

Terrible General Management

Pros

It was a job with a steady pay check, they offered health benefits a vacation time

Cons

They do not value local customers or local sales reps at all. There is always another customer out there and there are always other sales reps who will come along that they can pay less. The General Manager changed the sales reps compensation plan 6 times in one year, moving the goal post so the reps would never make their quota and he didn't have to pay them commissions. It's a revolving door of local sales reps because they are not valued.

Pros

Lots of leeway. Good benefits. Steady hours. Paid holidays. Starts at ten vacations days and five sick days. Understanding management.

Cons

Dangerous situations. The pay is entirely too low for the conditions that we are put in on a daily basis. The management doesn’t appreciate
