Pros

A great deal of support for self-contained classrooms, good training, pay was comparable to other districts and the administration was supportive. The superintendent, Dr. Randall, was the best that I've ever worked for.

Cons

Some self-contained classrooms had too many students that required a great deal of behavioral support.

Pros

In the Fine Arts Division I had wonderful staff to work with.

Cons

Some principals did not need to be in a leadership positions because of disrespect and lack of support shown to their teaching staff. Too many power-hungry principals existed in the 3 Texas School districts I taught in. Parents are always correct! The teacher becomes the "Fall Guy"!
