Pros

Got to meet a few good people.

Cons

I never reviewed a company before, but again I’ve never had such a horrible experience. I literally worked - I meant set confused and alone for 6 days. 1st day you will have a warm welcoming that will have you thinking wow this is an awesome company- wait! Don’t go bragging just yet- I’m going to help save the next person from embarrassment. Day 2 - met with a couple of dept. for a brief description of their responsibilities- lunch with manager, director and VP…Day 3 manager goes home for lunch (2 hrs.) and left me sitting with nothing to do. Day 4- manager leaves again- I’ve set with a couple of people few quick overview of what they do. Day 5 - still no training besides processing a couple of POs and learning the IFS system which is very self explanatory unless you’re incompetent. The VP is fairly new and talked a lot about improvement and open to new ideas and you’re like yes! I reached out to him and the director who obviously has a lot of influence detailing my on boarding experience and asked when will training start because I’m anxious to get started and that sitting idle was not productive. I walked into the meeting with the VP, Director and manager and was immediately attacked by all parties to the point that I was almost in tears. I remained professional and tried to explain that I want to continue to work for the company, but would like a training plan. They insisted that I’m not a fit- I’m was in disbelief because I didn’t expect the response from upper management. My manager lied during the meeting I refused to throw her under the bus, however it would not have made a difference because it was cleared that they met beforehand to attacked my concerns instead of discussing a solution, the VP lied about being able to work from home one day out of the week and the director was just plain mean. It doesn’t stop there- reached out to corporate HR and she was just as mean and unprofessional and literally asked why was I calling- she heard I wasn’t a fit and there was nothing else to discuss. My advice for anyone interviewing don’t expect any sort of direction or structure- you will have to find your own way and do not reach out to corporate because they will deem you as not being a good fit and will present you with a take it or leave it option. In today’s world where good hard working people are a dying breed they will let someone with an extensive background and extremely high work ethics walked away without an inkling of what can we do. I can’t emphasize enough that this is the first time I worked a job 6 days and set alone approximately 70% of that time doing absolutely nothing. It’s a good job if you’re lazy and just care about getting a paycheck. You won’t be a fit if you’re experienced and have expectations.
