Working under a project can be stressful sometimes especially when the project is coming to an end after 5 years because you start thinking of hunting for other jobs. It's better if one is recruited under the normal organization's budget, not tied to a project. The uncertainty or unpredictability of financial flow to support project activities is an issue where sometimes you get budget cuts and this affects planned activities. it can be frustrating at times.
