Pros

Convenient office, free parking, nice people to work with, good salary with performance based raises each year and also annual bonuses.

Cons

long hours. lots of grunt work if you are just starting out. You aren't given much say so in design or important decisions until you work there a while. no 401k match.

Let go for asking for a raise

Pros

- Met lots of people that helped me learn and grow over my time here - Project type depends on your studio but each office works on a variety of project types - Work life balance depends on you studio, most people work ~40-45 hour weeks while some work more. Engineering team works closer to 45-55 hour weeks - Benefits are decent. Holistically memberships, parking stipend (not Dallas), etc.

Cons

- Asked for a raise and was let go - Leadership is on the traditional side of common issues such as WFH and other benefits - All training is said to be “organic”. There is no formal trainings for any incoming staff at any level. You will need to learn a lot on your own, even the basics like the filing system. - Favoritism is a big factor here. I watched many people here get overlooked for promotions or be “silently promoted” without compensation. - Many projects are underbid to get work - Any additional responsibilities taken on will not be financially rewarded. Pay is based on you experience level only
