Pros

They are very good to thier employees.

Cons

Everyone that works there has been there for a long time and it is hard to feel a part of the "family" sometimes. Sometimes they act like some tasks are very hard when they really aren't at all. They need to update their systems to be comparable to others.

Pros

LE is just trying to sell chinos to white people--but they try to make good-quality chinos and make their customers happy while they do so.

Cons

Micro-management! There is zero empowerment--every VP is checking every zipper, every catalog layout, every email that goes out, every shade of blue. And the senior executives are right behind, double-checking all of the above...and then deciding, um, no, change it. And then: Oops, change it back.

Pros

On-site child care and lots of "morale" events

Cons

If you want to be promoted equally and have any fair compensation, this is not the place to work. Different departments have different advancement rules. Rules are often changed and people are not informed until it affects them poorly. Management does not have back bones and will not stand up for you.
