Revolving door

Pros

There are some really smart and motivated people that come through there from time to time.

Cons

Culture and morale are in a bad place. People want to come in and help the company find its way, they are all to quickly run off in favor of cutting corners and decisions based on ego.

Do not even apply here!

Pros

There is nothing positive about working there.

Cons

They expect you to meet an AHT of 7 minutes when all the customers who call, call for catalog orders they want to place and either they cannot see the item number, they don’t have their list ready or the item number doesn’t exist! Then they threaten to fire you if you are not meeting call handle time exceptions! This puts pressure on the agent and it’s just not a good situation. I would advise you to not apply here if you do not want the pressure

Old School Retail

Business Outlook

Pros

-employee discount -Paid Time Off -benefits -pay

Cons

-stuck in the old ways of retail, you have to kiss up to higher ups who don’t really know what’s going on -don’t want to listen to actual feedback, once you deliver it, it’s taken as unprofessional and unwarranted -there’s favoritism like no other, people have jobs because they are friends of higher ups -will “listen” to your concerns or issues, but won’t do anything because that’s how things are done -HR is useless, can’t even fire incompetent people
