Pros

-The pay was good, company I worked through was fantastic, and LL were great as well, until they weren't

Cons

-Call volume is incredibly high, which can cause burnout. -Got fired for sounding "too tired" on calls after about 6-7 hours of interpreting calls that are almost back to back.(worked there for almost 6 years and during the last month I got 3 "needing improvement" which got me fired, I was being told by costumers that I did a great job every day, unfortunately the random QA individual did not agree) -Language Line QA can give you a bad score for random subjective reasons whenever they feel like.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience after many years with LanguageLine Solutions. We’re grateful for your service and the commitment you showed during your time with us. We’re pleased to hear that you found the pay competitive and had a positive experience with both the company you contracted through and LanguageLine—for much of your tenure. It is unfortunate your time ended in a way that left you feeling disappointed and unsupported. We recognize that interpreting, especially with sustained high call volume, can be demanding. Burnout is a real concern in this field, and we continue to explore ways to balance operational demands with interpreter well-being. Regarding your concerns about Quality Assurance: Our QA process is intended to uphold interpreting standards across the board. Thank you again for the years you contributed to our mission of connecting people through language.

It's unfortunate you’ve experienced challenges with our platform, management, and the payment process. This is not the experience we want for our interpreters. We take your concerns seriously and continuously look for ways to improve. Please reach out if you would like share additional information to InterpreterCommunications@languageline.com.
