Working at Demand Media in 2016 [Tech side]

The benefits are good, industry standard and they're trying a lot to keep the employees happy in every way.

Cons

The company itself is not doing too well, the decisions which led to the fall of the company 3-4 years back are still being carried out. In addition, on the technology side, there are no new additions and the work is still being carried out with a old stack.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We do strive to keep our positive culture and increase employee happiness. I would say our benefits are above standard and continue to improve. Demand provides a robust medical plan (medical/dental/vision), an open vacation program, as well as great maternity/paternity benefits. Demand Media has pivoted from its legacy and the tech side of Demand Media has also changed throughout 2016. The company is moving forward and businesses are getting stronger each day. I am not sure when you left the company, but the stacks throughout the properties have advanced and teams are continuously strategizing on how to improve its products, including its stacks. Thanks again for your review and your time at Demand Media.
