Amazing and smart people work here. Many opportunities to grow and to be heard. A place where you can share ideas and where you can make great contributions. I worked with very smart people who were passionate of what they do. Management listened and took in your ideas.

Pros

I enjoyed working at Leaf Group/DemandMedia for several years. The layoffs have come as a surprise. Once a vibrant, stable place to work.

Cons

The executives said there "was no talk of layoffs" when asked in a company wide meeting then 2 months later, let go of 20 percent of the company and 30 percent of the tech team earlier this year. There is a lack of transparency in the tech team. Contractors are brought in and promoted ahead of others who were there years.
