Pros

- Smart, thoughtful individual contributors with a drive to deliver for the customer. - empathetic clients and team-level leadership - one of the more enjoyable experiences I've had in an industry despite cannabis being very rapidly changing, with different regulations between states. Primarily due to the product sold and the personalities of the operators in cannabis.

Cons

- out of touch senior leadership with resumes that speak more to juicing every dollar possible out of an opportunity, versus providing any quality experience to customers - they've fired pretty much everyone who knows how to operate the platform - there are some individual contributors / middle managers who have tried to take voluntary severance but can't lest critical functions cease - there's a huge pile of crippling tech debt that they are currently trying to minimize by shedding products and features as fast as possible - spent the last several years burning huge piles of money with poor direction prior to the founder being summarily replaced by current leadership - no process (or desire) for feedback to be received or actioned on from go to market employees or the long tail of their customers (any cannabis company that is not a multi state operator)

Pros

Cannabis industry is a really exciting space right now. It’s in it formative years so you really get to experience how market factors, people, capital , technology come to shape an industry. Most of the people are really great to work with. Respectful collaborative individuals.

Cons

The biggest con is that the management frequently lies - for instance they’ve done 3 layoff this year- and after each they resolved no more will be needed. They’ve set revenue goals which are not grounded in any sense of reality. Most of revenues are dependent on the relationships of 2 executives and the company is heavily dependent on them. There is no real plan and contingency plan for success. After market turned , they couldn’t raise venture capital and having burnt through cash on building oversized teams which weren’t translating to customer value, they are now reassessing everything a.k.a layoffs. The executive team also takes no responsibility for bungling up some pretty big changes they introduced like restructuring the GTM operations.

Pros

Clown car upper management. Poor direction, and poor planning. Two people run the company with 2nd tier management positions. Without them the company is lost. If you're counting on the executive staff to do heavy lifting, you're delusional. Stoners will love the absence of lanes, seasoned executives will abandon hope quickly. Find a real company to hang your future aspirations.

Cons

Only cons. The pro's never appeared..
