Great teachers who sacrifice their time to ensure student success.

Cons

Overworked, underpaid, too many meetings, not enough planning time. New Superintendent brought a different "culture"--very rigid, not flexible.

LISD is a wonderful organization and very well-structured. The leaders (until now) have all been great.

Cons

There is limited room for growth. After 15 years my salary has increased very minimally despite taking on more responsibility. Now that Bret Champion is gone, the future of our district is in limbo.
