Pros

I grew up in this district and have seen many changes over the years. LISD has had incredible, rapid growth and has worked hard to maintain many aspects of its ethics and values. I felt valued here as a teacher.

Cons

Many of the problems that teachers face are a result of societal changes. I recognize that many administrators' hands are tied when it comes to supporting educators in the classroom, which is saddening. I ultimately left the profession due to these changes.
