Thank you for your service to our students as a Bus Monitor! We appreciate your feedback and understand that summer work can be inconsistent, even with summer school shifts available. While this year is an outlier, LISD typically hosts an annual “reverse job fair” in the spring where we invite local businesses who are hiring seasonal employees during the off calendar months to participate. Keep on the lookout for the next one in Spring 2021, as we will be inviting your team to attend!

Pros

This is a school district that has students' needs at heart. They strive to provide and protect their students as much as they are able.

Cons

Not everyone understands the district's goals or agrees with how to achieve them. There can be inconsistencies with the parent- school relationship.

Thank you for your service to our students and staff as a substitute teacher! As a district, we strive to keep students at the focus of everything we do! We also understand that as we grow, we need to reevaluate the best way to make sure that everyone understands our goals and what they can do to support them in their role. Thank you for taking this time to review us on Indeed!

Pros

Working with kids is awesome! Their love is immeasurable.

Cons

Working with kids can be very stressful. IA position doesn't have room for growth unless you move to a different department.
