Pros

I can’t think of any pros about this company or the La Petite Academy in Scottsdale, AZ other than it’s a job. But other facilities pay better

Cons

Over ratio, over crowded classrooms, low pay, poor poor management. Company only cares about making money NOT what is best for kids. Company will fake documentation to become accredited.

We’re sorry you’ve had a disappointing experience working with us. Your feedback is concerning, since the situation you’ve described isn’t in keeping with our values and high standards of operation. La Petite Academy has strict protocols to ensure the wellbeing of our children and to make certain we meet regulatory guidelines. Educating and caring for young children is demanding work; no work is more important. We’re committed to providing a supportive work environment where every employee is given the opportunity to be successful. If you are open to sharing more details on your personal experience, please call our Employee Hotline at 866-384-4277, and we will ensure that your concerns are addressed. Thank you.

Pros

Working at Learning Care Group is great! We celebrate success in many ways. I've worked for a couple different companies in the past but none that recognize the accomplishments of their employees as much as LCG. I truly feel that Support Central (Corporate) cares about the children, the employees and the schools. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help. It's amazing how many times I hear people say they've worked here for over 10, 20, even 30 years. One of my favorite aspects is the collaboration between departments and the opportunity to work on projects. This is a growing company and it’s exciting to be a part of trying new things. I highly recommend LCG.

Cons

I hope someday to have a match on our 401K. Also, which I think is true with any company, communication could be better. I hope to someday have an app where we can communicate with all employees.

"Corporate" Care Group

Pros

It is easy to form long-lasting friendships with coworkers. The company allows "dress-down days" and themed weeks to keep things fun and interesting. Obviously, teaching children has its own rewards as well.

Cons

Learning Care Group is incredibly corporate. Everything revolves around paperwork and documenting every single detail. The love and compassion for children is easily lost in the process. The pay is quite frankly depressing, with very little room to grow or opportunity for significant raises. Incredible, hardworking, dedicated coworkers have had to threaten to quit numerous times just to receive the pay they deserved. Everyone's hours are constantly cut to accommodate management's favorite employees. Budgets are extremely low, there never seem to be enough supplies for the whole school. I was only a part of one school within the Learning Care Group, but from conversation with other employees from other schools, these issues span company-wide.
